What SermonRecap collects
SermonRecap may collect church contact information, pastor or staff contact information, sermon materials provided by a church, pilot application responses, member names, phone numbers, language preferences, consent records, and delivery-status data needed to operate sermon recap and follow-up workflows.
How SermonRecap uses information
We use information to review pilot applications, create sermon recap pages, prepare pastor-approved follow-up messages, manage recipient consent status, deliver messages when approved, provide support, maintain service security, and improve the product.
Texting and consent
Churches are responsible for confirming that members have agreed to receive church messages before live texting begins. SermonRecap does not permit purchased, rented, scraped, or cold contact lists. Recipients may reply STOP to unsubscribe where SMS is used.
Service providers
SermonRecap may use service providers for hosting, database storage, email, analytics, messaging delivery, and operational support. We do not sell member contact lists or share them with third parties for their independent marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Your sermons
Your sermon notes and recaps belong to your church. We use them only to prepare your recaps. We do not use them to train AI models. Recap pages are hidden from search engines and are not posted publicly. Ask and we delete them.
Data requests
Churches may request correction or removal of their data through our contact form.
