SermonRecap Terms and Conditions

Service description

SermonRecap helps churches turn sermon materials into recap pages and pastor-approved follow-up messages. During the prototype pilot, scope, availability, delivery channels, and message volume may be limited.

Pastor approval

Nothing is sent without church approval. Churches are responsible for reviewing and approving sermon recaps and member messages before they are sent or published.

Recipient consent

Churches must confirm that recipients have agreed to receive messages before live texting begins. Purchased, rented, scraped, or cold lists are not allowed. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help where SMS is used.

Text message terms

• Program: weekly sermon recap text messages sent on behalf of a participating church, for example New Life Hutto. The church is the sender of its messages.
• Frequency: about 1 message per week.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Signing up is optional and is not a condition of anything.
• Privacy: see our privacy policy. Mobile numbers and text sign-up information are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Pilot status

SermonRecap is currently offered as a prototype church pilot. Some features may change, be paused, or require manual review while sender verification, onboarding, and carrier compliance work is completed.
